You can test MailChimp email sending and receiving programmatically!

Testing MailChimp email sending and receiving programmatically

MailChimp is a great service for sending transactional emails — it has a simple interface and an intuitive API.

But testing MailChimp email sending and receiving programmatically is difficult. How can we check that an email was received? We could send a test email manually with our own address, but what about during automated integration and end-to-end (e2e) tests?

Introducing MailSlurp: a free, simple API for sending and receiving emails from randomly generated addresses. That means you can create a new, empty email address during a test, trigger MailChimp, and request the latest email count from MailSlurp.

You can read message content, send emails, and much, much more. Check out the examples section for detailed guides.
